Richmond Badminton Club are dominating the Darlington & District League with the club topping all five divisions with one month remaining.
In the Mixed A Division, Richmond are top on 82 points from 11 matches with Wensleydale A in second place on 56 points from 12 matches.
Larchfield A and St Teresas B are in the bottom two places with 25 points and 15 points respectively both having played nine games.
In the Men’s A Division, Richmond A are still undefeated this season with eight wins giving them 58 points, the same as Durham & Tudhoe who have played two matches more.
St Teresa’s B are having a tough season after promotion last year and are bottom of the league with only six points so far from their seven matches played. Harrowgate Hill are Teresa’s closest rivals at the foot of the table with 23 points from nine matches.
Richmond also top the Ladies Division on 43 points, with a 10 point lead over Durham & Tudhoe with both having played six matches.
At the bottom, Polam Hall in their first season in the league are finding it hard to adjust to playing league games with the Polam Hall School side having two points to show from their six games.
In Mixed B Richmond B lead the way with 72 points from 10 games.
Eppleby, Aycliffe and Wensleydale B are locked in a battle for second place with only three points separating the three clubs.
Eppleby and Aycliffe have both played 10 games and have 50 and 47 points respectively while Wensleydale sit on 47 points but have a game in hand.
The bottom of the table is equally close with Haughton on 32 points, Glaxo 29 points, and Larchfield B 28 points, fighting to avoid the wooden spoon.
In the Men’s B Division Richmond B lead a close fight at the top with 56 points from 10 matches, closely followed by Hummersknott A on 49 points from nine matches, and Haughton 47 from nine.
At the bottom the young Hummersknott B team have four points from nine games and as in the A Division are well behind their closest rivals Richmond C who have 23 points from eight matches.
